Collection: Illuminated Signs & Light Boxes

Types of Illuminated Signs We Offer

  • Projecting Blade Signs: Mounted perpendicular to the wall (sticking out). These are essential for walking streets as they catch the eye of pedestrians from both directions.
  • Wall-Mounted Light Boxes: Flat, backlit signs perfect for main storefront headers or interior reception walls.
  • Rotating Blade Signs: Motorized projecting signs that spin 360° to catch attention from every angle.
  • Custom Shape LEDs: We can fabricate light boxes in the shape of your logo, not just circles or squares.

Why Choose SignEdge LED Signs?

1. IP65 Waterproof for Outdoor Use
We don't use indoor-grade strips for outdoor signs. Our storefront light boxes are fully sealed with silicone gaskets and use marine-grade aluminum frames. They are built to withstand heavy rain, snow, and humidity in US and Canadian climates.

2. Energy-Efficient & Bright
We use premium Samsung or equivalent high-CRI LED modules. They provide brilliant, even illumination (no dark spots) while consuming 80% less energy than traditional neon or fluorescent bulbs.

3. US/Canada Standard Voltage
All signs come with a UL-compliant 12V transformer (power supply) that works with standard 110V outlets. You won't need a converter.

4. Easy Installation
Your sign arrives pre-wired.

  • Plug & Play: For simple setups, just plug it into a wall outlet.
  • Hardwire Ready: For a professional storefront look, the wires can be easily connected to your building's electrical junction box by any local electrician.

Illuminated Sign FAQs

1. What is the difference between a "Blade Sign" and a regular Light Box?

A regular light box is usually mounted flat against the wall (single-sided). A Projecting Blade Sign is mounted perpendicular to the wall, sticking out into the street. Blade signs are essential for retail stores and coffee shops because they catch the eye of pedestrians walking down the sidewalk from both directions, doubling your visibility.

2. Are your LED light boxes waterproof for outdoor use?

Yes. Our outdoor light boxes are rated IP65 Waterproof. We use marine-grade aluminum frames and fully sealed acrylic faces with silicone gaskets. They are built to withstand heavy rain, snow, and humidity, making them perfect for storefronts in the US and Canada.

3. Do I need an electrician to install the sign? (Hardwire vs. Plug)

It depends on the look you want.

  • Plug & Play : All signs come with a standard power plug and a 12V transformer. You can simply plug it into a regular wall outlet.
  • Hardwire (Recommended for Storefronts) : For a cleaner look with no visible hanging wires, we recommend hiring a local electrician to hardwire the transformer directly into your building's power supply.

4. How do I choose the right LED Color Temperature (3000K vs 6500K)?

  • Warm White (3000K): Creates a cozy, vintage, or inviting atmosphere. Best for bakeries, coffee shops, and bars.
  • Cool White (6500K): Looks bright, modern, and crisp. Best for tech stores, pharmacies, and high-contrast logos.

5. What is the ideal size for a round projecting sign?

For most street-level shops, a diameter between 16" to 24" (40cm - 60cm) is the industry standard. This size is large enough to be read from a block away but compact enough to be safe and wind-resistant. We can produce custom sizes up to 40" (100cm) upon request.

6. How long does production and shipping take?

Since every light box is custom-made and tested, production takes 7-10 business days. We offer Free Standard Shipping (3-5 weeks) or Express Shipping (7-14 days) via DHL/FedEx. For grand openings, we strongly recommend choosing Express Shipping at checkout.
